WAVE Infrared ATRIS 650 V2 Thermal Rifle Scope

The WAVE Infrared ATRIS 650 V2 combines a high-resolution 640 × 512 thermal sensor, a 56 mm germanium objective lens, and WAVE’s ViewMax™ 2560 display in a traditional 30 mm tube design. With 3.5× base magnification, thermal sensitivity below 15 mK, and up to 10 hours of expected battery life, the ATRIS 650 V2 brings detailed thermal imaging and practical features to your nighttime hunting setup.

Whether you’re watching a field edge or scanning open country, the ATRIS 650 V2 offers six thermal color palettes, picture-in-picture, customizable reticles, and onboard recording to help you make the most of your time outdoors.

High-Resolution Thermal Imaging

At the heart of the ATRIS 650 V2 is WAVE’s MicroTherm™ 640 × 512 sensor, featuring a 12-micron pixel size and a 50 Hz refresh rate. Thermal sensitivity rated at NETD <15 mK helps distinguish subtle temperature differences between animals and their surroundings.

The Arclight™ Ultra HD germanium lens features a 56 mm objective, paired with 3.5× base magnification and a manufacturer-listed detection range of up to 2,900 yards.

Detection range indicates the ability to detect a heat source. It does not represent positive identification or an effective shooting distance.

ViewMax™ Display with Widefield Technology

The ViewMax™ 2560 display with Widefield Technology presents your thermal image with multiple viewing adjustments. Choose from six thermal palettes—White, Black, Red, Green, Golden, and Violet—and four OLED display hue options: Grey, Blue, Purple, and Red.

Picture-in-picture provides a magnified viewing window while preserving the main image for surrounding context. Hot Tracking and Outline Mode offer additional ways to view thermal information.

3.5×–14× Magnification

Start with 3.5× base magnification and increase to 14× using digital zoom. Rapid and Smooth zoom options let you choose how magnification changes.

At base magnification, the scope provides a field of view measuring 470 feet at 1,000 yards.

Customizable Reticles and Five Saved Zeros

Choose from nine reticle designs, plus a tenth option with no reticle displayed. Black and white reticle colors are available, along with a polarity reversal option.

Four reticle designs feature an illuminated center dot with red, blue, or green illumination. Front focal and second focal reticle options let you select your preferred reticle behavior as magnification changes.

Save up to five different zeros, with profile nicknaming that supports caliber labels and zero distances.

Record Video, Photos, and Audio

Capture your time in the field with onboard photo, video, and optional audio recording. Recoil Activated Recording includes an adjustable sensitivity threshold.

Onboard media management lets you view recordings and delete files directly through the scope. Wi-Fi connectivity is also included.

Power for Extended Hunts

The ATRIS 650 V2 runs on one protected 26650 battery, with an expected runtime of 10 hours. A cold-start time of approximately five seconds—from logo appearance to functional use—gets the scope ready quickly.

An automatic shutdown battery saver can be turned off or set to 30, 60, or 90 minutes.

Actual battery life varies with battery condition, temperature, settings, and feature use.

Traditional 30 mm Tube and Field-Ready Construction

The ATRIS 650 V2 uses a 30 mm scope tube and measures 15.2 inches long, excluding eye and lens covers. Weight is 31.7 ounces without the battery.

The nitrogen-purged housing carries an IP67 waterproof rating and a manufacturer-listed 10,000-joule recoil rating. A five-year transferable warranty provides coverage that can transfer with the optic.
